Mario Severino was born in 1999 in Catania, Italy.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering in March 2021 and his Master’s Degree in Bioengineering in April 2023, both from the University of Padova, Italy.
His Master’s Thesis, supervised by Prof. Mattia Veronese, focused on the application of PK/PD models to investigate the effects of antipsychotics on cerebral blood flow in the brain.
Currently a PhD student in Bioengineering (XXXIX cycle) at the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Padova, he is supervised by Prof. Mattia Veronese and co-supervised by Dr. Julia Schubert.
His primary research focus is applying PET molecular connectivity approaches with the aim of establishing this method as a precision medicine biomarker.
