Marco Pinamonti

Ph.D. Student

Marco Pinamonti was born in 1999 in Vicenza, Italy.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering in July 2021 and his Master’s Degree in Bioengineering in September 2023, both from the University of Padova, Italy.
His Master’s Thesis, supervised by Prof. Massimiliano Colarieti-Tosti at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, focused on motion correction algorithms for PET image reconstruction.
Currently a PhD student in Bioengineering (XXXIX cycle) at the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Padova, he is supervised by Prof. Mattia Veronese and co-supervised by Prof. Alessandra Bertoldo.
His primary research focus is discovering new biomarkers to model ageing trajectories using normative models applied to resting-state fMRI data.
