Giacomo Loreggia was born in 1997 near Padua, Italy.

He received his bachelor degree in Information Engineering in July 2019 and his Master Degree in ICT for Internet & Multimedia in 2022, both from University of Padova, Italy.
He developed his master thesis under the supervision of Prof. Gianmaria Silvello from the University of Padova and Prof. Matteo Lissandrini from the University of Aalborg in Denmark. The thesis presents the research activity carried out in the University of Aalborg, concerning the integration of Scene Graph data models into a Deep Learning Image Search system.He is currently a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Mattia Veronese and the co-supervision of Dr. Marco Castellaro.

His main research interest concerns effective medical-imaging-data management.
