Chiara Da Villa

Research Assistant

Chiara Da Villa was born in 2000 in Venice. She received her Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering in July 2022 and her Master’s degree in Bioengineering, with a specialization in Models and Analysis of Biomedical Data, in September 2024, both from the University of Padua.
During her Bachelor studies, she spent six months in 2021 as an exchange student at the University of Bergen in Norway. For her master thesis, she conducted research at KTH University in Stockholm on a Physics-Informed Neural Network to predict brain stiffness from MRE neuroimages.
Since November 2024, she is a research Assistant under the supervision of professor Mattia Veronese (Department of Information Engineering, University of Padua) as part of the project “Q Amyloid – Quantitative Amyloid Imaging”. Her main research area regards the automatic identification of amyloid plaques in Alzheimer disease patients.
