Caterina Musi was born in 2001 in Bologna (BO), Italy.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in July 2023 from the Marche Polytechnic University and her Master’s degree in Bioengineering in October 2025 from University of Padua.
Her Master’s thesis focused on the analysis of resting-state fMRI data and on investigating functional connectivity (FC) changes in Huntington’s disease.
Since November 2026, she is a PhD student in Information Engineering (Bioengineering curriculum) at the University of Padova, under the supervision of Prof. Mattia Veronese. With her research project, she aims to develop methodologies to characterize and differentiate individual FC patterns by applying network analysis techniques and AI to multimodal neuroimaging data.
