Ambra Checchetto was born in 2000 in Mirano (VE), Italy.
She received her Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering in September 2022 and her Master Degree in Bioengineering in December 2024, both from University of Padova, Italy.
Her Master thesis, supervised by Professor Marco Castellaro, focused on a comparison of T2* relaxation-times estimation models to assess myocardial iron overload.
Currently, she holds a research fellowship to work on Sodium Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This project aims to develop phantoms and define an acquisition protocol to identify hydrodinamic and inflammatory edema. Furthermore, she is working on automatic myocardial segmentation using deep learning algorithms.
