Emma Roveroni was born in 1999 in Padua, Italy.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in September 2021, and her Master’s Degree in Data Science in April 2024, both from the University of Padua. Her Master’s Thesis, supervised by Prof. Mattia Veronese, focused on predicting the progression from Mild Cognitive Impairment to Alzheimer’s Disease, with an emphasis on the potential association between choroid plexus volume and conversion.
Since November 2024, she is a PhD student in Bioengineering (XL cycle) at the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Padua, under the supervision of Prof. Mattia Veronese and co-supervised by Tommaso Gandolfi (OFFXET Srl).
Her primary research focus is developing new digital methods using wearable sensor data to monitor both motor and non-motor Parkinson’s Disease symptoms.
